Cavallino is a genuine, natural cowhide with a distinctive surface and unique pattern. Each hide tells its own story – shaped by color, texture, and the natural movement of the hair. No two pieces are alike.
Our Cavallino hides come exclusively from species-appropriate animal husbandry and are a byproduct of food production. They do not come from animals specifically bred for leather production, but rather represent the responsible processing of an existing natural material.
The distinctive hair structure gives the furniture a vibrant, powerful appearance – while the fur remains pleasantly soft and warm to the touch. Cavallino combines archaic naturalness with modern elegance and has been used in high-quality furniture and interior design for decades.
Since each hide is unique, the color, pattern, and hair direction are intentionally varied. Customers can select their personal hide before production, ensuring that each piece of furniture precisely matches their individual preferences.
