Eileen Gray's Non Conformist Chair is a radical departure from traditional seating and is considered one of the most extraordinary designs of the Bauhaus era. Designed in 1926, this chair reflects the avant-garde attitude of the designer, who consciously defied convention.
The asymmetrical design with a single armrest—optionally positioned on the left or right—gives the piece its distinctive character.
